Worship Ministry

In its essence, worship, is a response to the revelation of God.

True worship begins with surrendering our "self centered focus" and choosing to place our full attention upon God and His glory.

Music is a common unifying language that helps to connect us with God in community. It is a vehicle of expression that powerfully unifies us in celebration of our common faith and beliefs. At FBC we work to create an environment for all to come and express their love and adoration to God with an open heart and a surrendered spirit.

Our songs may be reverent, joyous, quite, loud, fast, slow, new and old, full and complex or contrite and simple, but whatever the mode, our desired outcome is to worship the Living God. Likewise we encourage members of the body to exercise their gifts of music, art and creative expression for the purpose of glorifying God and making Him known.
 

We are always looking for musicians and singers who love Christ and are surrendered to Him to join our worship team.
