What We Believe (page two)

ABOUT THE ORDINANCES
  • We believe that in obedience to Christ, those who have believed in Him are to be baptized by immersion (Matthew 28:19), and are to partake regularly of the Lord’s Supper (I Corinthians 11:23-29), and are to be God’s ministers to the world (I Peter 2:9-10).

ABOUT THE CHURCH
  • We believe the church is composed of those whom the Holy Spirit has baptized into Christ’s body (I Corinthians 12:13) and that it is the means by which God intends to make Himself known in this world (Ephesians 2:2-13).

ABOUT SATAN
  • We believe in a literal Satan and a literal lake of fire.  The lake of fire is Satan’s final judgment as well as the judgment for all those whose names are not in the book of life (Revelation 20:7-15).

ABOUT THE ETERNAL STATE
  • We believe that those whose names are in the book of life will live forever with God (Revelation 21:1-6)
